What is Knife Coating and Why Should One Use This Technology?
Knife coating is the technology used in the field of PVC coated technical textiles to obtain the highest qualities, especially in terms of solidity (fabric and welding) and dimensional stability. Ultimately, the neatness and aesthetics of a project are improved.
How to achieve this?
- By using liquid PVC instead of PVC foil, enabling both a mechanical and a chemical adhesion.
- A high-density fabric with little space between the yarns ensures a strong but supple end product with good resistance to weathering, especially winds, but also to tensioning and other mechanical influences during the use of the product.
